Bank Monthly Close

Actions Before Closing the Banking Module

Perform the following actions prior to closing the Banking module:
Check that there are no transactions pending entry for the period to be closed (deposits, checks, bank commissions, etc.), since, if the module is closed, no
transactions can be made with the date of the period closed (the accounting entry of the day on which the transactions are made must not have been issued).
There must not be any documents (deposits, checks, bank commissions, etc.) in Register status, they must be printed and updated. If they exist at the moment of executing the closing, a window will be displayed showing the documents.
Generate the accounting entries of the period to close in Administration (Back Office) → General Accounting → Generate Accounting Entry of Banking Transactions.



Issue the report "Monthly Bank Balances by Account" in Administration (Back Office) → Banking → Bank Reports → Monthly Bank Balances by Account and compare with the Trial Balance. Ideally the balances should match or perform reconciliation of the balances.
Execute the bank reconciliation.


The system allows to print and register operations of the month after the open month.

Period Closing


To close the Banking module, perform the following steps:
Go to: Administration (Back Office) → Banking → Bank Monthly Close
In the inbox select the bank account to be closed by clicking on the account.
Confirm the month-end closing of the selected account by clicking on the Close Current Month button.
If there are pending transactions, they will be displayed on the screen. Press the Back button and enter the Update of Operations application.
