Call Charger is not Posting - Activate Tartel Call Accounting Interface with Novohit

When the charging interface is not functioning, your system consultant or system manager should disconnect and reconnect according to the following procedures:

Step 1: Disconnect the Interfaces


Novohit → then Tartel:

  1. Deactivate the interface in Novohit in case it is activated: "Configurations → Interface Monitor" > select the interface with the Edit icon (pencil) and click on the DEACTIVATE button.
  2. Close the PosteoIP window in the Call Accounting PC window if it is open.

NOTE: It is not necessary to close Tartel, only the PosteoIP application.

Step 2: Connect the Interfaces


Novohit → then Tartel:

  1. The first interface to be activated is the Novohit interface which is activated in the menu "Configurations →Interface Monitor".
  2. Select the interface with the Edit icon (pencil) and click on the ACTIVATE button.
  3. Only after activating Novohit, proceed to activate the "posteoip.exe" interface on the pricing PC by double clicking on the "posteoip.exe" icon located on the desktop or as part of the "Start Menu".
  4. To confirm the connection, at the bottom of the window that opens it should say
    "Connect to: xxxxxx" (connected to: IP_ADDRESS)

Common Cases:


a) If you find the "posteoip.exe" window already open but without the legend: "connected to: xxxxxx" you should close it and open it again so that the correct legend appears, verifying beforehand that the interface is already active in Novohit.

b) If when connecting the IP Posting gives the message "asyncronus error", you must deactivate and activate both interfaces again with the same procedure before activating the IP Posting again.
