Daily Exchange Rates Type HotelRSV

This application manages the daily exchange rates to be applied in the reservation engine.

The exchange rate that is applied to the foreign exchange rates is to convert them to local currency.
Go to: Admin → Set Operation Control and Processes → Front Desk Module Parameters → Daily Exchange Rate Type

The Daily Exchange Rate section will be displayed where you must specify:

-Application: you must select the Currency Rates option.

-Currency: you must indicate the currency for which the exchange rate will be defined.

-Click on the Search button.

-Two more sections will appear:

Add/Edit Currency Exchange Rates section: in this section you can add exchange rates for the current day or future dates.

Field	Description
Application	Once selected in the previous section this field is filled by default.
Currency	Once selected in the previous section this field is filled by default.
Date *	Indicate the date for which you wish to enter the exchange rate.
Exchange Rate *	Indicate the amount of the new exchange rate. You can check the exchange rate in bing.com, you must enter the acronym of the currency you want to convert and then the currency in which the hotel works. E.g.: For a hotel in Mexico that is created in currency type "Mexican Peso" and you are looking for the dollar exchange rate in the search engine you should type USD MXN.
Add	Button to save the exchange rate.
Exit	Button not to save the exchange rate.

* Mandatory Fields

During the night audit process, the current daily exchange rate will be automatically extended for the following day, in case there is no previously defined exchange rate for that day.

The following image will show the Foreign Exchange section, in a list of all the daily exchange rates. Past dates can only be consulted, and future dates can be selected to be modified.
