Extend Stay Expected Departures
This application reviews all the rooms that are scheduled to check out on the current day and extends their check-out date by one day, i.e., it updates the stay of those guests who do not notify that they will stay one more night.
This process is executed automatically during the Night Audit or manually in Modify Registration, but it can be useful to execute before when there are no more pending departures for the day to know exactly how much real availability the hotel has.
To enter, go to Front Office → Reception → Extend Stay Expected Departures
When you open the screen, it will show the Extend Stay window, to execute it just click on the Extend button. This window will change when you finish extending the stay informing the status.
This application should be used only after check out time is over to avoid extending all guests.
When a stay is extended, either in Extend Stay in Modify Registration or in Night Audit, the system will assign to the new stay the same rate as the last previous stay regardless of the Rcp_Rates_Reg_Ext parameter setting.
