Free Nights

Free Nights

This application allows you to tell the system if any nights of the guest stay will not be charged, regardless of whether or not a rate has been assigned for that day.
To assign free nights go to Front Office → Reception → Free Nights

You will enter the screen that will show you the Free Nights window.
Indicate the room and click on Search. You will be able to enter a single number and it will display all matching rooms. You must select the one you are looking for.
A list of all the nights of the stay will appear.
On the right side you can select the night you want to give for free and click on the Assign button.

When a room is assigned one or more free nights you will be able to see them in "Front Office → Reception → Modify Registration", at the bottom where the daily rates are shown you will see that the dates that were indicated as "Free" will be highlighted in orange. Those nights will not be reflected in the statement since Novohit will not make such charge.
