Installation in WordPress – Plugin
The new hotelRSV plugin for WordPress allows you to install with a single click the hotelrsv.js libraries and perform basic configurations such as application language.
Avoid Errors! Avoid duplicate libraries or installation. If you use the WordPress plugin, make sure you have not placed the hotelrsv.js libraries manually.
Compatibility 3.8.1
This plugin is compatible with WordPress from 3.8.1 and up to 6.x
If you are upgrading from a version lower than 1.1 first follow these steps.
Plug in Installation
1.- Download the latest stable version of the WordPress hotelRSV plugin by clicking here.
2.- Login to the WordPress administration panel as an administrator.
3.- Once inside, go to the "Plugins" section.

4.- Click on ADD NEW
5.- Choose the UPLOAD option and select the file we just downloaded hotelrsv-wp-latest.zip and click on INSTALL NOW.

6.- Now the plugin must be activated, for this, click on RETURN TO PLUGINS PAGE that will take us to the hotelRSV plugin. There, click on ACTIVATE.
Now that the hotelRSV plugin is active, we proceed to the configuration of parameters as we will see below.
Parameter Configuration
1.- To configure the plugin, go to the Settings section and choose the HotelRSV option from the menu
2.- Indicate the following information:
-The hotel id. This ID is provided by the hotelRSV team when you activate your license. In case of multiple hotels, you must indicate the ID of the main hotel.
-The base language you want the application to run in. For more information visit Language Selection and Determination.
-The Site ID or Site Code of analytics.novohit.com, the integrated platform for analytics and marketing analysis, essential to get the most out of hotelRSV.

Plugin Update
Starting from version 1.1 the plugin uses the WordPress platform for automatic update. When a new version is available, a corresponding notification will appear in the Pending Updates section of your WordPress installation.
Versions earlier than 1.1 will need to manually deactivate and uninstall the plugin, request the latest version from our help desk and perform the installation as indicated in this guide.

Or you can update it manually:
1. Download the latest stable version of the WordPress hotelRSV plugin by clicking here.
2. Repeat the Plugin installation steps, uploading the latest version, when you upload it, Wordpress will ask you what you want to do with the new version, you must select Replace Current with Uploaded.
Test the Installation
With another browser, go to your hotel's website and test the application, you can also test it with a mobile device. It should work just like our demo page.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed hotelRSV on your site

Add Class rsv-app-launcher and rsv-mobile-launcher in the Menu
Go to the WordPress menu editor (Appearance -> Menus). Select in the upper right corner the Screen Options and turn on the checkbox on CSS Classes in the advanced menu options
Then, add and/or place a Menu option of type LINK, where in the URL field place # and in the CSS Classes field, place: rsv-app-launcher rsv-mobile-launcher.
Save and test.
