Modify Registration

This module is used to modify any guest registration data including their stay and the rates that apply on a daily basis.
To enter this menu, you must go to: Front Office → Reception → Modify Registration
When accessing the Modify Registration module, the system displays two main sections that allow users to search for and modify active guest registrations in the hotel.



Modification of Register

In the upper section of the screen, the user can search for registrations using the following filters:

  • Room: Allows searching registrations by a specific room number.

  • Guest (Last Name / Name): Allows locating registrations by guest last name and/or first name.

  • Agency: Filters registrations by the agency or channel associated with the stay.

  • Group: Allows filtering registrations that belong to a specific group or displaying all groups.

After entering the desired criteria, click the Search button to display the results.

If you know the room number you can indicate it and press the Search button to access directly to that room, otherwise all the rooms that meet the search parameters will be displayed.

Select Room

In the lower section, the system displays the Select Room panel, which lists the registrations that match the selected search criteria. This table shows the active registrations in the hotel and includes the following columns:

  • Sel: Pencil icon used to select the registration for modification.

  • Hab.: Assigned room number.

  • Print: Allows printing the guest registration form.

  • Guest: Full name of the registered guest.

  • Agency: Agency or booking channel associated with the registration.

  • Arrival: Check-in date of the guest.

  • Departure: Check-out date of the guest.

  • Plan: Rate plan applied to the registration.

  • Category: Guest category.

  • Group: Indicates whether the registration belongs to a group and displays the group name when applicable.

From this list, the user can select a registration to access and modify its information.

Within the registration you will be able to modify all the information that was registered from the reservation or at check in. You will be able to modify the reservation holder and add or remove companions.
Once the modifications have been completed, click on the Save button.


Notes
When a stay is extended, either in the Extend Stay in Modify Registration or in Night Audit, the system will assign to the new day the same rate of the last previous stay regardless of the Rcp_Rates_Reg_Ext parameter setting.

Consult Log of Registration Changes


To review all transactions made on a Record (Home Room), you must enter the record using the Pencil icon (Edit). Once inside the reservation, go to the icon  in the first Log column of the Room Grid.



A window will open showing all changes to the record since its creation (check-in):
