This modality is a service offered by the Bank and must be contracted with the Bank or Gateway.
HotelRSV can specify these facilities in the text and validate that the electronic transaction has been completed correctly.
Additionally, the cases must be separated. As a premise, it is necessary to consider that hotelRSV allows with flexibility the collection of the guarantee by # of nights or by % (between 1 and 100%).
Once defined the modality to take (% or # of nights), hotelRSV makes the calculation automatically.
Normally, (and as it is now configured for Vallarta and the other hotels of the group), it is standard in the hotel industry to charge or guarantee the first night.
- Case a) Payment of the guarantee less than the total stay: the value to be guaranteed can be divided in months without interest, this service must be requested to the bank. Then the remaining amount must be divided when the guest pays at checkout, since the remainder must be collected at the hotel.
- Case b) Payment of 100% of the entire stay: although it is not common to pay 100% of the entire stay, hotelRSV allows it. It can also be divided in months without interest as long as you activate this service with the bank.
In either case, it is with the bank that you must request this service and hotelRSV connects to receive confirmation from the bank in any mode (hotelRSV does not store C.C. data).
