On-Premises Server Lifetime
Servers have a useful life of 3 and 5 years (maximum), due to the fact that the equipment is on 24x7x365 days subject to voltage variations, high temperatures and physical wear of components.
We recommend replacing hard disks every 3 years.
Exceeding the lifetime of a server will gradually degrade the performance of the operating system and Novohit.
