Register Reservation Deposits - Chile
This option allows you to record and display the deposits that affect the balance of a given reservation. The registration of deposits can be defined with various details. To register deposits to reservations, go to:
Front Office → Reservations → Register Deposits for Reservations
The Reservation Selection window will appear where you must enter the key to the reservation to which the deposit will apply and click on the Search Reservation button.
The following windows will be displayed:
Add Reservation Deposit Details, you must enter the following:
Field

Deposit Description *
| An explanation of the payment is defined. |
Deposit / Refund *
| Please indicate if it is a deposit or refund, this will depend on the hotel configuration. |
Operation Type *
| Select the payment method used for the transaction, these options will depend on the hotel configuration. |
Receipt Number | You must enter the folio number of the receipt depending on the internal control of each hotel. |
Transaction Description:
| Allows you to write a brief description of the movement being recorded. |
Currency
| Automatically Novohit® according to the registered national currency. |
Amount *:
| You must enter the amount of the deposit to be recorded. |
Confirm Reservation:
| If the reservation was not confirmed, you can do it from here at the moment of registering the deposit. |
Buttons: Pressing this button will exit the window and clear all registered information only if it was not saved.
Clear: Clears the form to create a new deposit, the information will be lost only if it was not saved.
Save: Saves the information by saving it in the reservation.
In the Reservation Deposits window, the deposit will be displayed and will be added if more deposits are made.
In the Deposits by Reservation Details window the different transactions or deposits will be shown. In this window you can print each one by clicking on the Receipt button or download it in PDF to send it by e-mail.
