Novohit manages the availability management based on room types and the pre-assignment of the specific room number to be used in the reservation is an optional activity that can be performed by the reception area or whoever is authorized to do so.
This pre-assignment of rooms to a reservation can be done at the same time the reservation is made, but for operational reasons it is recommended that it be done the night before or early in the morning for reservations that are scheduled to arrive on that date, which, together with having the registration forms printed, will speed up the guest check-in process.
To pre-assign a room: Front Office → Reservations → Pre-assignment of Rooms.
Select the reservation in question with the editing pencil, you can use the search fields to search for the reservation.
To pre-allocate, simply select the room that meets the requirements. To offer a room with the guest's requests (if available) you can filter by the Characteristics that appear in the top menu in the table of available rooms. With the button: FEATURES will filter those rooms that have at least one feature of those requested by the guest.

Pre-assignment is exclusionary, so you can only assign the same room in Registration if it was NOT pre-assigned.
The Front Office → Room Management option application, allows you to graphically display the status of the rooms for any period of days required, showing precisely the rooms that are vacant, occupied, with scheduled departure or under maintenance, but due to the previous explanation and since the pre-assignment of rooms is not mandatory, this information will not necessarily reflect the information of the rooms reserved in the future.
In this option you can press any of the rooms shown in the status occupied, scheduled departure, maintenance or reserved and the system will show the user information related to the status of the room, in the case of occupied rooms or rooms with scheduled departure, you can also access the option to modify the registration or the room account.
In the Front Office → Reception → Room Status application it is also possible to consult room status in graphic form but only for one day.
