Upload Images and Photographs

In Novohit it is possible to upload images, pictures and diagrams to identify services, products or spaces in the different modules offered by Novohit. In this article we provide some general recommendations for you or your Marketing, Media or Communication team to follow in order to achieve a better quality and usability in the images you will upload in Novohit.

Working with Images and Photographs

The following guide explains the function of uploading Images and Photographs in Novohit.

Format
.png, .jpg, jpeg (these acronyms must be in lower case when uploading the image)

Idea
Use JPEG format for better Web optimization.
Dimensions
Any of these STANDARD values:

3×5 inches     900 x 1500 pixels RECOMMENDED!
4×6 inches     1200 x 1800 pixels
5×7 inches     1500 x 2100 pixels 
And each photo of NO more then 4MB

Make sure your photos are of standard dimensions and weigh less than 1 Mega for the best user experience. More information about standard dimensions:

The lighter the images, the better the experience for the booking user. These are Novohit's image guidelines.

Loading Image

When you click on the Landscape Photo Icon , a window will open to upload and select the photographs you want. Upload the Photos to the Select Files area, you can drag the files to the Drag Files Here area or press Add Files to select them from your device.

Notes
Maximum size 1500 pixels on the widest side
JPG format.
Optimized for the Web at less than 450Kb. (recommended 300Kb or less per image).
Make sure your photographs are of standard dimensions and weigh less than 1 Mega for the best user experience. More information about standard dimensions: http://www.picmonkey.com/help/articles/633730-standard-photo-print-size.
To upload them to the server, press Start Upload.




 Select the photographs you want to assign to the Room Type by checking the corresponding box.
 This icon will delete the photo permanently.
 This icon will allow you to view the full image in a new tab.

Press Save Selected confirms the selection of Photos.

Sorting Image

Once the photos are loaded you can sort them by clicking and dragging it to the location you want:




Idea
The order of the photographs is Quadrant style (starting from the first row, first left position, ending in the last row, last right position.
