What to do in Case of Incident During Night Audit FAQ

Below is a series of steps to follow in case of common incidents when running the Night Audit in Novohit

If the following message appears when running the night audit:

The page is not redirecting properly it was detected that the server is redirecting the request to this address in a way that it will never finish. 

MUST:
  1. Select the "RETRY" button.
SHOULD NOT:
  1. CLOSE the browser.
  2. RELOAD the page (F5 or CMD+R) to the browser before the audit is complete.
  3. BROWSE back with the browser before finishing the audit.
  4. LOGOUT from novohit before the end of the audit.

If the page while performing the audit takes a long time to process:

MUST:
  1. Wait for the audit to finish and give you the message "End of Day Closing: (DATE) You may continue working." 
SHOULD NOT:
  1. CLOSE the browser.
  2. RELOAD the page (F5 or CMD+R) to the browser before the end of the audit.
  3. BROWSE backwards with the browser before the audit is finished.
  4. LOGOUT from novohit before the end of the audit.
For security reasons the system does not allow any user to log in if all audit processes are not concluded. This is a feature of the system.
In these cases, you should place a ticket in the Operational department of Type: Night-Audit. And our team will react shortly to check if any process was not concluded correctly and conclude the audit.

A Login Notification Center is planned in a novohit update to indicate the causes if a user is unable to login.
