FAQ Point of Sale POS Companion Products and Dynamic Menus - Quick Start Guide

In Novohit, any Point of Sale Product can be configured as a "Complement Product". In this way "Dynamic Menus" can be built during the operation of the Point of Sale by simply choosing any Point of Sale Product and then adding the appropriate Complements, optionally at an additional price. 
The Complement Products (Dynamic Menus) option is additional and independent to Packages - Combos - Kits.

Packages - Combos - Kits are designed and oriented for Retail sales (with inventory management), while the Complement Products are designed and oriented for Food and Beverage sales (Restaurants/Bars/etc.) with Recipe Costing control.

Prerequisites: Enabling Special Requests

You must enable Special Requests in Point of Sale Catalog or ask our Support staff to enable it by submitting a Ticket.
It is not necessary to configure Special Requests to use the Companion Products.
