Surveys - CRW

In the "Surveys" module you will be able to review the results of the surveys sent through the CRW Novohit Surveys module and you will be able to have statistics of these. Remember that Novohit Surveys can be sent to guest of the Hotel, POS customers, suppliers, accounts receivable customers and employees. Novohit surveys are 100% designed by the company and can be designed and configured following this guide: Survey Configuration - CRW.

Additionally, if you have a TripAdvisor agreement (Review Express) you can also manage this integration from the survey module.


Client Reviews of Novohit


Surveys can be sent at different times depending on the requirement as explained below.
Your customers or employees will be able to answer a questionnaire designed by you from any device.
The evaluation items are defined independently by your company.
Surveys are designed to be answered only once (industry standard).


Make sure that your emails reach their destination, configure a SMTP server 

When are Surveys Sent


Depends on the Module:

Front Office (PMS / Hospitality)

  1. According to the parameter Gst_Comment_Email_Send:
  1. At the time of Checkout the invitation email is sent to the guest
  2. or X days after checkout
  1. According to parameter Gst_Comment_Email_ReSend.
  1. It is resent to all guests who have not responded X days after the first sending (defined by parameter Gst_Comment_Email_Send).

SPACES (Events, Projects, Courts)

  1. According to the parameter Bqt_Comment_Email_Send:
  1. At the time of Checkout the invitation email is sent to the customer.
  2. or X days after checkout
  1. According to the parameter Bqt_Comment_Email_ReSend
  1. It is resent to all customers who have not responded X days after the first sending (defined by parameter Bqt_Comment_Email_Send).

Points of Sale

  1. A QR code is printed on the payment ticket.
  2. or an email captured at the time of payment is sent.

Human Resources

As planned, examples:
  1. With each payroll mailing

Accounts Receivable

As planned, examples:
  1. With each Invoice remittance
  2. When recording a AR payment

Language Determination in Novohit Client Reviews (Customized Surveys)


When a client checkout or pays an account, Novohit sends the invitation email in the language the user has selected in the Flags menu (Novohit languages).
In any case, Client Reviews, like all Novohit applications, automatically detects the language of the user's device and will display the content in the user's language automatically.



If the guest device is in Portuguese, Novohit will display the content in Portuguese automatically.



If the guest device is in English, Novohit will display the content in English automatically.

It is important that in all cases the translations of your specific texts (greetings, acknowledgements and any other custom text) have been registered in: Configurations → Customer Reviews Configuration

TripAdvisor's ReviewExpress (Service to be Contracted Independently)


Novohit integrates with Tripadvisor's ReviewExpress Engine. This tool allows automating the sending of invitations to leave comments and reviews to guest who stayed at the hotel. The invitations are automatically sent hourly or daily after checkout in the language set at the Novohit user level, i.e. in the language selected in the flags.

The hotel can verify and determine the list of guests to whom Novohit will communicate to TripAdvisor to receive an invitation to leave a review.



ReviewExpress is parallel and complementary to Novohit's ClientReivews and both can work.

TripAdvisor's ReviewExpress Language Determination


During the automatic audit, requests are sent to Tripadvisor in the Hotel's base language (for Latin America, it is Spanish).
Additionally, it is indicated that, if you want to make a particular language selection (override), you can:
Enter the Surveys → TripAdvisor Express Review Management menu. Select the desired language using the flags at the top of the main menu.
  a. If the request has NOT been sent, select one or several stays with the Checkbox of the Request and click on the Request button.
  b. If the request has already been sent and you want to make an update, select one or several stays with the Checkbox in the Update column and click on the Update button.
In any case, the client can change the language once the survey has started.
