Register Vacation Periods

Register Vacation Periods

This application is used to manage the vacation periods of managers and/or employees:
  1. Previous Periods: At the time of implementation, the days of the pending vacation periods up to the work start date are recorded considering the implementation date.
  2. Current Period: When the work year is completed.
Go to: Human Resources → Vacation Management → Register Vacation Periods.
The initial screen shows the following sections:
Register of Vacation Periods: Entry and calculation of Vacation Periods.
Search Vacation Periods: Allows you to search for the Vacation Periods of the officers and/or employees already registered.
Registered Vacation Periods: Displays the Vacation Periods of the officers and/or employees already registered; also, the result of the searches performed.



Search Vacation Periods of Managers and Employees


To search for vacation periods for Managers and/or Employees follow the steps below:
Go to: Human Resources → Vacation Management → Register of Vacation Periods.
In the Search Vacation Periods section enter the information corresponding to the managers and/or employees you are looking for in the following fields:

Field
Description
Employee Name
Select the legally registered name of the managers and employees.
Department
Indicate one department or leave blank for all.
Period To
Enter the year of the end of the Vacation Periods.

Press the Search button.
The Registered Vacation Period section will show the result of the search.
You can enter one or several fields; depending on the fields will be the filters used in the search.

Register Vacation Periods


To register the vacation periods of managers and/or employees, perform the following steps:
Go to: Human Resources → Vacation Management → Register of Vacation Periods.
In the section Register of Vacation Periods enter the information corresponding to the vacation period of the managers and/or employees in the following fields.
Field
Description
Employee Name
Select the employee for whom the vacation periods are being recorded.
Start Dt
Displays the employee's entry date.
Year FROM Vacation Period*
Enter the starting year of the vacation period.
TO*
Year of the end of the vacation period.
Calculated Dt To*
Select from the calendar the date up to which you are calculating.
Corresponding Days
Displays the calculated days.

When in implementation, the days of the pending vacation periods up to the working start date are recorded considering the implementation date.
Progressive Days
Indicates the corresponding progressive vacation days.
Observation
Comments regarding the Vacation Period being recorded.
*Mandatory fields.
 Click on the Add button.
The Registered Vacation Period section will show the registered vacation period.


Update Periods


The Update Periods button generates or updates the vacation periods, calculating the vacation days from the work start date to the system date. When indicating the employee in the Employee Name field or if it is done for all employees by not selecting employee.
You must confirm the generation or update of the vacation period.



If they were not required to be generated, you can delete the generated records.

Modify Vacation Periods


To modify the vacation periods of managers and/or employees already registered, perform the following steps:
Go to: Human Resources → Vacation Management → Register of Vacation Periods.
Perform a search or click on the Edit icon in the Registered Vacation Period section to whom vacation periods are to be modified.
Enter/edit the information in the fields of the Regester of Vacation Periods section as required.
The Date From and Date To fields cannot be modified once vacation has been calculated for that period, to avoid data consistency problems.
Press the Save button.

Elimination of Vacation Periods


To delete the vacation periods of managers and/or employees already registered, perform the following steps:
Go to: Human Resources → Vacation Management → Register of Vacation Periods.
Perform a search or press the Edit icon in the Registered Vacation Period section to whom vacation periods are to be eliminated.
Press the Delete button.
The vacation period cannot be deleted once vacation has been calculated for that period, to avoid data consistency problems.
