Quick Start Guide

Before you start using hotelRSV on your website, it is recommended that you read this quick start guide.We invite you to get to know the example operation in HotelRSV Demo and familiarize yourself with the behavior of our applications and functionalities, which we describe in this manual.
hotelRSV is a 100% web application created with HTML, JS, CSS that can be quickly installed on any page without programming knowledge. You can install it on any CMS (Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress, Wix, SquareSpace), or on any PHP, HTML, Ruby infrastructure. A Wordpress plugin is also available.
The implementation of hotelRSV in a hotel is divided into the following steps:
Start of Service and Setup by hotelRSV-Novohit team
Our team will request basic information of the hotel at the moment of the activation of the service, with this information a basic setup will be made, establishing some parameters such as Guarantee Types, Currencies for rates, etc. All this configuration is done by our team at the time of starting the service with hotelRSV.
Hotel or Hotel Group Configuration
This process is done by the hotel with the help of the HotelRSV Configurations guide. Here, you will register hotel details: Address, Contacts, Booking Conditions, hotel pictures, room pictures, hotel characteristics, booking conditions. All this in the different languages in which you want to display the booking engine.
Sales and SmartAvail Configuration (Inventory, Rates, Availability)
This process is carried out by the hotel with the help of the Sales Configuration Guide: inventory for sale, seasonal rates and rate types, daily rates, promotions, Revenue Manager and SmartAvail® will be established.
Novohit PMS ERP Connection
SmartAvail®: For those customers with Novohit Property Management System ERP, after these steps, the connection between hotelRSV® and Novohit® is made.
Installation on Web Page
hotelRSV offers several applications for reservations: see hotelRSV Applications for Reservations.This is the "step to production". Once all the above parameters are configured, you can "install" hotelRSV on your website. We have designed hotelRSV to make this task simple and fast, your Webmaster, Web designer or marketing agency will be able to implement hotelRSV easily: just add a few lines of code on your Web page or a plugin on your Wordpress page and determine the points or calls to action or Call To Action or Call To Reservation, such as buttons and links.

Installation on their Facebook Page
socialRSV is the "Social" version of hotelRSV. It allows you to install the hotel booking engine on the Hotel's Facebook page.
TripAdvisor Configuration for TripConnect
With TripConnect, your rates and availability will appear live and in real time on TripAdvisor.com. This way you can attract more customers and bookings to your website!
Remember: Offer competitive rates and increase your profits by attracting all guests to your website instead of an OTA! Save on commissions!
Client Reviews Configuration (HotelRSV Guest Questionnaire)
Offer the best after-sales service. Give your guests a voice and get the information you need to improve your service. With hotelRSV Client Reviews you can design, write and send satisfaction surveys to your guests when they checkout. Analyze the results with our reports.
The results are for internal analysis of the hotel, so they will not be published automatically. Only if the guest decides, the guest will be able to share the positive comments on social networks.

Review Express Setup (TripAdvisor Questionnaire Invitations)
Control from hotelRSV the invitations to fill out TripAdvisor surveys thanks to Review Express. Decide to whom to send or to whom to exclude the invitations from the hotelRSV Extranet.
hotelRSV will synchronize with Review Express automatically.

hotelRSV will synchronize with Review Express automatically.

Setup and Connection for Credit Card Payments with Deposit to your Hotel Account
To initiate secure credit card payments and direct deposits to your account, follow Enable WebPay, Credit Card Payment, Payment Gateway, PayPal.

Mobile Application
With hotelRSV, your hotel or group of hotels can have a Mobile App on App Store (Apple - iOS) and Play Store (Google - Android). To activate this service, contact our support team by submitting a ticket.
Sync with PMS Novohit
hotelRSV synchronizes reservations and availability with Novohit PMS. This way, the availability in your online channels is virtually the same as in Novohit PMS. For more details about the configuration, see Synchronization with Novohit.
