Credit Cards, Debit Cards and Other Real-Time Electronic Payments

HotelRSV allows secure credit interfaces with banks and payment gateway. These interfaces are automatic and in real time and update the status of the reservation and the registration of the prepayment. For credit card payments, HotelRSV has several integrations with payment processors.

Idea
Like all Guarantees (Forms of Payment), guarantees with Electronic Payments may be shown to the end user in certain circumstances. For example, it may apply for "Non-Refundable" rate types or for certain promotions. This can be configured by defining the Season level that applies in Reservation Guarantees and then in Define Seasons.

FOR SECURITY REASONS AND OFFICIAL LEGISLATION IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO REQUEST CREDIT CARD DATA WITHOUT THE USE OF AN AUTHORIZED INTERFACE.

Bank Deposits

By its intrinsic nature, the Bank Deposit or Bank Transfer payment method is an "asynchronous" guarantee, i.e. it cannot be implemented with real-time validation. To implement it, you simply place the instructions for the customer to make the deposit into the hotel's account. At the moment there is no way to validate that the payment was made, so your staff must manually corroborate the payment made and update the reservation accordingly.

Payment at Destination

You can enable Pay at Destination; this guarantee is also asynchronous and depends on your internal policies.
